Event Recaps: Capturing the Energy, Extending the Impact

Project highlights:

  • Authentic customer testimonial told through the lens of personal growth and entrepreneurship.

  • Story Finding approach focused on the human element over product features.

  • High-quality visuals of Paula using Lexmark technology to support her business operations.

  • A compelling blend of brand alignment and emotional storytelling that resonated with small business audiences.

From high-energy campus experiences to large-scale corporate conferences, event recaps give brands a way to keep the momentum going—and tell a story that lasts long after the crowd clears.

While at Lexmark, I helped produce recap content for LexShow, the company’s internal conference designed to inspire and align global teams. Through dynamic visuals, interviews, and fast-paced editing, the final video became more than just a highlight reel—it was a rallying point for future events, culture, and innovation.

At Eastern Kentucky University, I captured Rock the Red, an outdoor adventure festival hosted by Campus Recreation’s Adventure Programs. The recap video focused on energy, student engagement, and the unique community-building spirit of the event. By using a mix of cinematic footage and music-driven storytelling, the recap now serves as a tool to promote the event year after year.

Whether corporate or collegiate, these projects showcase how event video can go beyond documentation—it can amplify a brand’s voice, energize its people, and extend the value of every moment.
